I took my first art class and produced my first drawing at St. Edwards University, Austin, Texas in 2008. I was 70 years old. Since then I have been attending one art class each semester. I have learned I do not have any natural talent for art so I have to work REALLY hard at it. My last class was a life drawing class. That proved to be very difficult for sure, as I think in straight lines and angles, not in curves and circles, a result of my many years in the construction field.
