A retired librarian, avid researcher , reader of art books, art magazines, and hang out at museums and art gallery openings. Recently I have returned to painting in oils and taking a few oil classes. I still enjoy acrylics and collages as a medium. My focus now is landscapes, either by my photographs or plein-air. I like contemporary botanicals and have found that I also enjoy paintings that anglers would enjoy since I spend time in North Carolina in the wild Trout streams fishing with my husband. Collages of nature are still an attraction to me, actually, anything that involves nature is really a major focus.
