The inspiration for this painting is from my trekking in deep forest of Russia. This is an oil painting on canvas panel.

"February Unleashed" 16"x20" Stretched Canvas Feb. 24th 2015 After three continuous days and nights listening to the howling wind whip across the snow field, my thoughts turned to never-ending February. This winter has been record setting for snow, wind, and arctic air, the longest continuous stretch in 110 years.
16"x20" Stretched Canvas Friday, Feb. 13th, 2015 This is the temperature on the night I was painting this picture. I actually saw a rocky hillside covered in hanging icicles that afternoon. I used a palette knife, molding paste, and glazing medium to create the ice formations.

24 X 36 Pastel Painting. My Biggest painting yet. I snapped this photo even though my husband said you can take a picture directly facing the sun. I did it anyway. lol. I am truly blessed to have such beautiful scenes around me.
