This started as a painting of the Lac Léman… As it didn't work out, I went over it and tried to do another lakescape… and it turned out ugly and horrible and I was frustrated so I used my credit card to do come scraping… the credit card that someone tried to hack into… so……
This was last summer in Amboise, a day when there has been a plenty of rain … but towards the late afternoon, the sun did shine & created magic patterns through the dense foliage. Done on 13"x17" CP 300 gsm WC paper using transparent watercolors.
