We're just using the default system and points allocation that came with Community Server. Honestly, I don't want to post the specific points info because I don't want people doing things just to rack up points that have no meaning anyway. I guess we could just shut down the points system altogether, but I'd rather not see us do that

I you post a reply to a question, and the person who posted the question marks it as an official "answer" to the question, then your reply will get 20 points intead of the normal 5. See, now dang ... had you started a new thread and posted this as a question, I would have just got 20 points. LOL!

Having a number of "votes" for the star ratings is a great idea. Again, not something that comes standard out-of-the-box with our system, but something that I'll add to our growing request list!

I echo Karyn's message. We are indeed thinking about ways to handle this best. We realize that the human form is beautiful and can be very artistically treated, but we also realize that there are some artists who don't desire to see that subject matter. You get points for doing certain things on the site (posting to the forum / gallery, replying, rating, etc.) and those points accumulate with you.
