I'm a Physics teacher at the University of Porto in Portugal. I've always painted as a hobby since a very early age. I've had some formal art training while I was getting my PhD in Physics in Rochester, New York, and more recently at the "Porto Realistic Art Atelier" (http://aarpcursos.blogspot.com/). My favorite subject is the human figure.
