I grew up in Sarasota, Florida, where I started taking oil painting and watercolor classes with the artist, Nike Parton. We painted at live sites, such as the beaches, the celery fields, state parks, and even the Ringling estate. I pursued more studies at the Art Students League of New York, where I studied primarily with Gary Faigin, Nelson Shanks, and Ron Sherr. I moved to Philadelphia in 1997, where I helped start up Incamminati, and trained some more. I am now an instructor there, and also have a studio on the premise of the school.
