I guess I've always enjoyed creating things and painting and drawing ever since I was little-making paper flowers,collages,drawing for projects in school ,that sort of thing.Art was one of the things I really looked forward to in school. All through my school years I took some sort of art class,but I didn't really take it seriously until about a few years ago.My uncle was an artist ,and when we would visit him he'd teach me different things about perspective and the figure.He also told me stories about what he learned studying under Nicolai Fechin back at the Chouinard Institute.Later I took some life drawing classes at L.A. Valley College then I went onto studying with Richard Morris and Michelle Dunaway.I really enjoy drawing and painting the figure-in particular- faces.I love capturing that special look or pose .
