I'm retired military and had a great time traveling all over the world. I was honored to serve with some of the finest men and women I've been privileged to meet in the 40+ years that I've lived on this planet.
I've been drawing all my life and fairly new oil painter (started in 2006). I love contemporary classical realism (i.e., artists such as Jacob Collins, Tony Ryder, Kate Lehman, Rob Liberace and Duane Keiser). My main focus is the figure and I work with oils, color pencils (very limited) silverpoint and charcoal.
I write Skating at the Edge of Infinity which is a blog about art (both learning to paint and collecting art) and life in general. Not sure what else one states in a bio, um...other than the fact that I have an evil twin; honest.
