I grew up in Northern California and was so shy refused to take any art classes for fear of criticism. After I got married, we moved to Pennsylvania. That is where I discovered my love of painting. I have only attempted Watercolors but maybe someday I will branch out and try something else. I took a class at a small place in Lemont, PA. The three hours I had to paint during the class was a much needed break since I was a stay-at-home Mom. I started showing ad selling my work and discovered that I enjoyed hearing comments about my paintings.
After 11 years in PA, we moved to Colorado, where I live now. I took about 12 years off from painting and just got back into it about a year ago. I am basically self taught and look forward to the day when I can take more classes and workshops. I enjoy seeing all of the varied artwork posted on this website!
