After a long career doing other 'stuff', I'm now an artist and author based in London with a very wide range of interests (seriously - click the last link to check them out!).
I enjoy learning about art, making art and sharing information about art. I particularly enjoy drawing and sketching and the use of dry media but I love the skilled use of any material and am always interested in learning more.
I write every day about art on my blog Making A Mark and rather less often on my sketchbook blog Travels with my Sketchbook in...... - my sketchbook goes all over the world with me! I also have a blog where I review art products, books and services called Making A Mark Reviews and in 2010 I started a blog for a new project which is called The Art of the Landscape

I developed my information sites as a way of bookmarking links to useful information on various art websites (after a very nasty experience when I lost all my bookmarks) and I now share these as a resource for any other artists who are interested!
