Lisa Graves was born in Peru, NY in 1960. She graduated from The State University of New York at Potsdam in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and an Art Education Certification through a collaborative program with St. Lawrence University
She and her family currently reside in Charleston, SC. She loves the outdoors and the magnificent vistas of the Lowcountry. She works mostly in oils on canvas and her style is abstract realistic form and design. Graves is an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild and Oil Painters of America.
