Hi! My name is Diane Elgin. I am artist who loves to paint landscapes. I paint with watercolors, oil and sometimes pastels. Many of my paintings are of scene in St Croix USVI. My island is very beautiful from the architectural designs, to the beautiful landscapes and seascapes. Many viewers remember scenes in St Croix that are seen in my work. My paintings may bring back a memory from childhood or a vacation the viewer do not want to forget. It makes me love what I am doing much more.
I am widely influenced by Monet and Pissarro. I love artist from long ago who painted with love for the arts. Therefore I know that when people view my art they will see my love of for painting.
