Russian born and raised, I started making art at an early age. Mostly I was self taught until I got to US. I left Russia in 1998, at 16 I attended high school in Florida. After three years I went on to Arkansas State University. I graduated in 2005 with my BFA with emphasis on drawing and ceramics. I have been happily married to my wife Jennifer more than 4 years now. We both work in School district, I teach Art and she workd with special education students. I have a humble studio at our house (a shed, fully insulated) that i have been using to make my work. My main medium is watercolor and pencil, however I do lay my hands on acrylics and oils every so often.
