MFA, Cleveland, OH area. For drawing I mainly use Conte' graphite pencils or Canan d'Arch pencils on either Strathmore 400 papers, Canson, Fabriano, Stonehenge, and Utrecht Miliani. The best eraser I have found is the Faber-Castell 'Dust Free.' For oil paints I use LeFranc & Bourgeois, Da Vinci, Maimeri Aritisti, and a few Old Holland, as well as Bocour Bellini oil colors. The Bellini's are from the 70s. Although Bellini paints are no longer made (company is now Golden Paints) they are still my favorites. For a support, I use either Linen or Canvas. Most of my brushes are Grumbacher 'Gainsborough' (made in USA or Ireland) from the 70s, as well as Da Vinci 'Maestro 2', for bristle, and Grumbacher Renior 626 (excellent brush from the 70s), Old Hollard, Utrecht (good filberts) sables, and Raphael "Kervin' 8772 Mongoose.
