This is a 16" x 20" oil painting on canvas. It represents many, very thin, glaze layers of color, applied over a grisaille underpainitng. I'm calling it, "Golden Girl".

I got a chance to visit my Aunt & Uncle at their home on top a mountain in Canada. I loved the Birch I don;t see around my home and their rugged, beautiful cabin home. I painted this and sent it to them. Half Sheet watercolor.
