I really like the way the cast shadows and the object merge - that does nice things in terms of establishing bigger value/color shapes. Nice wprk Val.

Welcome to Mastering Oils Val. Thank you for joining. This community is only a few days old so it has very few members but it will quickly grow. American Artist is highly respected and widely read.

It will be very good to have you in this group. With your BFA and experience in design I'm sure you have many things you can teach us and as a designer ways of looking at a problem that many of us wouldn't have considered.

I would love to see some of your glass art. I've uploaded 2 oil paintings to the gallery and would welcome any critiques or comments that you would care to make.
