I have been
born on 21 of May
in 1958 in Ukraine . My parents immigrated to Estonia , when I was
approximately 12 years old. Here I studied, married and exhibited my
first artworks. In 1989 I and my family immigrated to US. American
cycle is full of impressions and events. There I studied painting,
photography, computer graphics, learned how to stay alive in strong
competition. This is individual story and sometime I will start with my
memoirs. I lived in US exactly 15 years. In this period my pictorial
works has
spread to all over the World. I travelled, worked hard on myself and my
professional skills, but time passed and I moved on, like one
journalist wrote about me: "took a pilgrimage to already free Estonia ”. If
progressive
astrology is to be trusted, then the day of 21 of May is
called "the day of clear vision”. What does it mean and how much I
correspond to that title is not mine business to judge. Astrologists
say also that I have ability to achieve goals I have set and that the
people, who are born on 21 of May don't know what rest is. Just like
words in one famous Russian song: "We only dream about rest at night”.
And this is exactly about me. They also say that Gemini like me have
strongly developed flair for sense of touch, sensitive and physical
components of human existence. But essence of our world view is to
change this rough physical substance to another, much more refined
lines. This is the process I have been working on all my life. With the
help of my brushes, paints, cameras, computer programs, also people,
who we call relatives and friends.
