I was born in Melbourne, Florida. My Grandmother, Elise, was a painter. While visiting her house as a child, I use to spend quiet time in her studio with the smell of turpentine and fresh paint, and was drawn into a world where I had time and freedom to truly be creative. I have carried that over into my own life and family. The best way I know how to consistently grow as an artist, is to simply spend time alone with my art. Nothing can take the place of that quality time. My favorite media are pen and ink, colored pencil, pastel and charcoal. My designs consist of strong imagery, expressive line work, and an eye for sharp detail.
