Started drawing at age seven and began art classes in my sophomore year in high school and continued in college at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Favorite subjects are figures, plants, and animals, but mainly clothed and nude figures and faces. I strive for lots of color and light in a realistic but instinctive way where I "search" for the color instead of relying on specific knowledge of color so I achieve a freshness in the finished piece. My favorite media is Caran D'ache watercolor crayon, pastel, and color pencil.
