Two years ago, after practicing commercial art for 17 years, I began to seriously pursue my life long interest in fine art. I had always wanted to be a fine artist and I was fortunate to have been raised in a family for which the arts were of the utmost importance and always encouraged.
Following graduation from Pratt Institute, where I studied commercial Illustration, I worked for corporations like Pepsi, Disney and Bloomingdales. Although I have enjoyed commercial work, I have found practicing portraiture to be by far the most captivating & gratifying part of my life as an artist.
