I am a largely self taught Michigan artist with some formal education in fine art from Lansing Community College. I enjoy working in several mediums and exploring different subject matter. The portrait and figure are favorites. Currently i am planning a series of woodland scenes depicting native Michigan plants, probably in oil. I have little time to spend on my art as i work full time as a warehouse clerk and have children including a young labrador who demands my attention. I've found though that this makes me all the more passionate about art so when i am able to work on a project it is very rewarding.
