I am a watercolor portrait and landscape artist. I am primarily self-taught but was raised in a family of artists. My mother, Juanita Watkins Moore, was an oil/acrylic landscape and still life painter. I chose watercolor as my medium of choice due to its transparency and flowing qualities. I enjoy painting watercolors on traditional paper but also on watercolor canvas. I teach weekly watercolor classes and I have started teaching workshops. In Feb. 2011, I am teaching "Children's Portraits from Photos" at the Mellwood Arts Center in Louisville, KY for the Kentucky Watercolor Society.
