
Eric Armusik is a romantic figurative
painter. His skills are appreciated by critics and patrons because of his
ability to combine technical brilliance with elaborate drama and emotion in
both his figures and their settings. Eric’s early experiences with art were
staring at the ceilings during church at the local Roman Catholic cathedral
each Sunday as a child. Seeking
out formal training after school, Eric attended Pennsylvania State University,
where he earned a B. F. A. in painting, and a minor in an art history focusing
on Baroque art. He spent one semester studying painting and art history in
Italy. The rare opportunity to view masterworks by Baroque painters Caravaggio
and Artemisia Gentileschi had a profound effect on the direction and quality of
his work. Today Eric’s
paintings have established him as one of today’s strongest purveyors of
traditional figurative painting.
Eric Armusik is a skilled portrait and
figure painter. His paintings have been displayed in galleries and museums in
Philadelphia, New York, and Florence, Italy. In early May
2010, Eric’s artwork was picked for the prestigious Chairman’s Choice Award in

out of 1700 entries from artists of 30 countries, clearly setting him as one of
the most promising figurative artists in the genre of realism today. His paintings are in the permanent
collections of The Trenton City Museum, Lehigh Valley Hospital and numerous
private collections. His work has
also been prominently featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal,

Artist Magazine, American Art Collector, Victorian Homes Magazine, Old House
