I am a registered professional civil engineer and an artist. I live in the southwest part of the United States and I was born and raised in the midwest. I choose not to paint the landscape of my region. That type of art is sold in mass and I see no future in that market. I am told that I do not have just one style of painting, I guess this is true because I get bored easily. Presently I am painting ballerinas and nude females. My hobbies include reading ,writing and travel. To date, I have visited over 60 countries throughout the world. I enjoy the country's culture, architecture, art, food and of course the people. After experimenting with oils and watercolor I find that acrylics suit me the best because it is a very flexible medium and it has the rich colors that I enjoy. For me art is music. Best wishes.
