I started drawing as a child, daughter of an artistic mother and a draftsman father. Moving to the Sonoran desert has rekindled the artist in me after a lifetime of other pursuits, including a career in computer graphics and teaching portrait sculpture. I've sampled oils and acrylics but have found a love for pastel work and have even made some of my own pastels. I enjoy doing portraits and trying to capture the incredible beauty of the desert sky.
