Christy DeKoning is a professional portrait artist specializing in watercolor portraits of children. Christy grew up in Sydney, Australia. With formal training in singing and classical ballet, Christy worked as a vocalist on the Vancouver music scene in the early 90’s, and then as a makeup artist for several years before moving to Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and concentrating her career in Fine Arts.
Her portraits have been commissioned by clients across the globe, including Paris, London, Sydney, New York, and Los Angeles. Christy is an exhibiting member of ARTspace in Chatham, Ontario.
