Basically self taught, but have had some lessons. I love oil painting. Portraits are my favorite but I'll try just about anything. Recently have fooled around with acrylics and inks and mixed media in abstract art & collage. Very recently I did my first charcoal portrait (from a photo), of which I am most proud of as it took 7 months to complete & I can't draw! OH, I love a challenge!
