I am a retired businessman and just started painting in February 2011. However over the years--on and off--I have enjoyed drawing with pencil. Over the
years, family members and friends encouraged me to try painting. I thought I was too busy trying to make a living. Mistake.
Now that I'm retired, I have the time to try to paint. Since we live in a small townhouse in Florida, I chose acrylic rather than oil (no smell) and.water cleanup.
At present I'm trying to paint all different subjects and using different painting styles. I have not found my "nich" yet, but do enjoy trying different methods.
I'll continue posting my paintings and drawings in the beginners section and the member gallery section. Your comments and suggestions are
