Thanks for your kind comment on my oil sketch. I was hoping you'd have some of your plein air pieces posted. I would like to see them. Like you my house is over run with old canvases and the smell of linseed oil and maroger medium.

Thanks for leaving the comment on my drawing. My daughter hit herself in the head with a toy while I was taking photos of her -- she's normally all smiles. It broke my heart while drawing this.

Lezli, thanks for sending. Yes, I think darkening the back of the collar makes a big difference. Looks like you added some shading to the clothing to.

I'm enjoying your postings -- you have a very nice artistic touch.

I don't have a website for my work. I've been painting for less that a year and have posted my paintings (those that I will show to anyone) here on the AA gallery. I also have posted some drawings here too.

Lezli in answer to your question, this piece took me approximately 50 hours of off and on work. I have a space of about 5'x5' to work at in my house for my drawing table but hopes of a larger studio loom. Your works are very beautiful and light in tones of color. What's the longest amount of time you've spent on one of your pieces? I tend to be a perfectionist and my medium choice of pencils right now, takes much more time then I like. I read in your Bio that you usually end you art working day around 9:00 PM, that's just when my art 2 or 3 hours get started. Again great work and keep showing your art for the world to enjoy.
