Sphinx-like rocks seem to stand guard over the Atlantic mist, while feral goats detect an intruder in their remote mountain haunt. The horizontal foreground rocks suggest a defensive 'cheval de frise' barrier (like the apron of sharp rocks around Dún Aengus on the Aran Islands in the distance) and lead the viewer's eye diagonally through the larger rocks to the watchful goats..
