Two Cedars at Blue Mounds Plein Air Pastel study

Blue Mounds St. Park sets in SW Minnesota.  A great historical mystery surrounds the location of a rock wall which has no identifiable ties to any specific culture.  It perfectly lays east and west and on the first day of fall or spring the sun will rise and set right on its ends.  These cedars were painted west of that location about 1/4 mile.  Pink granite creates a beautiful contrast in summer and a splended contrast in winter.
