I was taken by the painting "Christina I" of Pietro Annigoni in when I first saw it in 1983. I attempted an incomplete version which 30 years later I have completed. As I painted it I felt a certain attraction to the face which I hope I have conveyed.

About Enzo

I am originally a civil engineer, programme and benefits realisation manager, but in reality always wanted to be an artist. After not painting for 30 years, I recently started again as I have more time now. My greatest pleasure is painting portraits for people who I love or have done something good for me, and giving it to them as a gift.

To all the wonderful people on this site who comment on the work of others, thank you as it is very motivating. Keep up the great work and make a difference to the world by making it a more beautiful place.
