The Real Coca-Cola Classic

I painted this 16"X20" oil on canvas many years ago when I was 17 years old.  My sisters-in-law left their coke bottles on my table and I painted a picture of them after they left. When I was that age, I had a lot of experience with oil paint but I had very little solid understanding of many of the art principles that I know now, and so I painted very intuitively.

About Loretta Baker Sawatzky

I began oil painting when I was 12 years old and painted most days after school. Before I was 18 years old  I did art shows, book illustrations, numerous commissions and competitions,  I married, raised my kids, and kept plugging at my art here and there throughout.  I eventually took art related courses and began teaching art.  Find me on Facebook @ Rocky Acres Greenhouse and Art
