The Pataha

Often, when people think of the Pacific Northwest, they think three things: coffee, Seattle, and rain. On the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains, however, aspects of the landscape remind one of the Southwest, with its unexpected canyons and hidden rivers.

The Pataha (original oil painting on canvas, 30 x 40) is one of these hidden areas, unusually, accessible within a few feet of stopping the car; you just have to walk a few steps and crest a hill. The Pataha is also available in various sizes of limited edition, archival quality prints at Steve Henderson Fine Art.

(Incidentally, the pronunciation of the title is Puh-TAH-hah.)
