The China Cafe Mural

The original painting was a quarter of the final size – 33feet high and 30feet wide. It was photographed and reproduced so that it could be fixed in panels to the side of the building with 'secret' fixings. The characters in the painting are local celebrities from the Cornish town of St Austell. The original was painted in three pieces in Golden acrylics.
