9X12 acrylic. What started out as a plein air piece ended up reworked in the studio. The day was a beautiful warm fall day on the Grande Rhonde River in Washington. The fly fishermen were out in force and made for many lively choices to paint. I took several pictures. This was in late morning and the sun was beginning to glare off the water. It was very peaceful sitting in the shade and dabbling. I ended up overworking the plein air piece and after some thought did the studio piece during the doldrums of January.
