Acrylic applied with a palette knife, 8"x10". I love to draw and paint flowers and I also love to paint and draw them when they're starting to wilt. The rose was still a vibrant red, not turning brown, no brown spots and I couldn't want to to capture it in all it's droopy brilliance! I wanted it to be a little more abstract that my usual tightly detailed work and slightly more geometric. But I am still pleased with the way it turned out.
