Rip my Heart Out

Rip my Heart Out, (8×10") oil on canvas panel. 10-2011.  Another from my Soul's Diary series. It's about a general feeling of loss and feeling like someone ripped out your heart.  This isn't a self portrait, but I painted the woman as naked because nudity while can be empowering it can also be extremely humbling and makes most people feel vunerable.
