Provincial Afternoon

Although I wouldn't want to tell the French this, they do not have the province on Provence. The meadows and fields hidden away in the wine country of eastern Washington draw the viewer to the same sense of simplicity, peace, joy, and contentment.

Provincial Afternoon, original oil on canvas, 32 x 48, is sold through the Lawrence Gallery, Sheridan and Gleneden Beach, Oregon. There is and continues to be more figurative work, however, at the Steve Henderson Fine Art Gallery site.
