Watercolor on paper. This is one of two pieces that I'm submitting for the members' show in December at our cooperative gallery in Eureka CA. The theme chosen was "structures in Eureka". Unfortunately, I was not there to cast my vote. I don't usually do "structures", and don't enjoy it as much a people, so I did them and got them finished well ahead of time.
There is a very famous Victorian Mansion in Eureka called the Carson Mansion and directly across the street, Mr. Carson built another, smaller Victorian as a wedding present for his son. That one is called The Pink Lady. This is just a detail from her.
