"Perspective". 30×24" Acrylic. Lynn Golitz

Developing the negative space in order to allow shapes, images, objects to emerge.  I chose to work this piece as a depiction of natural stairs to reach a view.  Some see asparagus, some see bamboo blinds, some see a raft, but whatever you see, it's all about your personal "Perspective".

About Lynn Golitz

At the urging of one of my friends, I replaced my 25 year corporate marketing hat in exchange for a paintbrush; and, thus, my painting career began.  That was in late 2009.  Since then, I have workshop studied with master painter, Ron Hicks at the Scottsdale Artists' School where I learned the concept of "emotive discovery".  I was hooked.  So much so, that my husband (a potter) and I recently renovated an old building in Morehead City, NC (the southern outer banks) and transformed it into BluSail Gallery, Artists' School & Pottery Studio where we create and teach.  In 2012, my "Shed at Gillikin Boat Yard" painting won at the "Art from the Heart" Show covering 5 counties.  Wish I could enter more shows, but BluSail keeps us quite busy!  There is nothing more exciting than bringing human emotional connectedness to the forefront than through the arts!   www.blu-sail.com.  blusail@ec.rr.com.  252-723-9516.
