Perry Sandhills

This is number one in a series of five plein air paintings I did on a very recent trip.  It is done in acrylic and is 8" x 10" in size.  Conditions were very windy and the paint was drying quickly on the palette.  Wanted to capture the soft shapes and colours of the ancient  inland sandhills just out of Wentworth, New South Wales, Australia.

About Michelle Endersby

For me painting is a journey I didn't even know I was going to embark on.  But now I have headed down the pathway which delights, amazes and sometimes frightens me, I must press on.  Mostly it is a very solitary pursuit, but the encouragement, advice and generosity from fellow travellers has been enlightening and heart warming.  Like Santiago in Paulo Coelho's "The Alchemist" I don't know where this journey is taking me so I am just following the signs that appear and finding my inspiration in the beauty of nature.
