Old trees at Riverside farm

All that remains of an old farm of 26 acres are these two old live oaks. they are huge; definitely survivors. If you look between the trees, you can faintly see downtown Austin. The only residents now are a few deer, some coyotes and the occasional fox.

About ruth meaders

I am an oil painter, mainly self-taught, relishing painting the clouds here in central Texas. I do some acrylics when I am traveling, which is often, and  I paint every week with a group in a barn 50 miles from home. They are an inspiration and great at critiques.
