Mom Back When 8"x10" acrylic

I did a portrait of each of my parents from old black and white photos of the time period when they met and married.  I gave this one to my dad last Christmas.  He died in the spring.  I am glad I did this for him.  He carried the photo in his wallet his whole married life.  It actually was her full figure, but I just did the head from the tiny, tiny image…mostly though, I just wanted to capture her spirit which is what makes the accuracy of her features have life.
