About Christine Gagnon

I was Born in Saint-Félicien, Quebec. Canada. For many years my only creations were drawings in my note books from work. In 2000 I decided to let that  creativity take its place .I recently graduated from a fine art school called  Mission Renaissance  in Montreal. Helene Béland and Daniel Brient were my teachers.

I did  learn through the old master techniques.  Each reproduction  was a  discovery, a different way to see our world, helping me to find my own style . Manet, Fantin Latour,Cezanne,Homer, Chardin, Reid or Gagnon:they all gave me so much!

I just love to capture a fugitive moment: a smile;an anxious look; a bored kid...I want to tell stories; little stories from ordinary people.
