Longing of the Soul by K Henderson

Longing of the Soul, 20 x 30, oil on linen

This oil painting portrait of an American Indian depicts a Plains Indian with his face painted Red, White and Blue.

He wears eagle feathers in his hair.

In earlier times the US Government gave the flag to American Indians as a sign of peace. The flag was flown, worn, and used for decorative purposes.
