Little Buckaroo II

I photographed this two year old boy at the Lubbock Cowboy Symposium.  His older brother and sister were in cowboy garb and the parents threw an old straw hat on the two year old to make him feel dressed up.

I loved painting the lost edges into the bright sunny day.  I lost as many of the edges as I thought I could and still have the painting read correctly.

About carol [eterson

Until my retirement in 2001 from South Plains College, I painted a few weeks each summer and occasionally took workshops.  At SPC I was a faculty member and area coordinator in the Computer Information Systems area.  Since retirement, however, I have devoted most of my time to watercolor painting, receiving awards in West Texas and National Art shows and signature status in the Texas Watercolor Society.
