When the pioneers were heading to the promised land out west, one of the last hurdles to conquer were the Blue Mountains in what is now eastern Washington and Oregon. While the Blues do not have the high, rugged peaks of the Rockies, they're still no series of gentle hills, and getting over them to the fertile, river-filled valleys beyond was a feat indeed.

LadyCamp is in the midst of these old, beautiful yet demanding mountains, a protected wilderness where you can hike hours without seeing anyone other than a deer, a herd of elk, and occasionally a black bear.

LadyCamp is available at OC Designer Source as an original oil painting (24 x 12) or licensed artwork.
