Fall Anjou Pears. Watercolor

I’ve been thinking about returning to watercolor for quite some time now.  Working strictly with oils for the past few years made the come back to watercolor so exciting and yet so challenging :)! Constantly reminding myself that I am painting in watercolor, not oils. that I need to slow down and wait until the paper dries, preserve the white, etc etc. I did a few watercolor sketches these days but the Fall Anjou Pears is the first one to showcase. The painting was done on French made Arches 140lbs, cold pressed, cotton rag, watercolor paper. Painted with Winsor Newton artist grade archival quality water colors. The size of the painting as pictured is 9×10 inches.
I hope you will enjoy the painting and comments are always welcome 🙂
